Meda moved to Birmingham from Pensacola in 2011. Suffering from chronic pain during her career as a dental hygienist, Meda discovered that strength and flexibility are key to overcoming

poor posture and repetitive stress. She began her fitness career with group fitness and later added personal training to her credentials with a certification from the National Academy of

Sports Medicine. “Over the years, I’ve participated in marathons, triathlons, and just about any fitness class you can imagine. The best thing I ever did for myself was to train under the DFAC

Master’s World Bodybuilding Champion, not to compete, but to get stronger. Out of all of the fitness disciplines I’ve tried, strength training restored my physical function and made me appreciate my body the most. I believe it’s crucial for injury prevention, health, and vitality. I enjoy helping people realize that their bodies can and will do amazing things as long as they train them and treat them well.” In her free time, Meda laughs with her husband and at her furbabies. She occasionally writes romance novels and might be slightly obsessed with nutrition and wellness.
